sorry for being away... i just got laid off in may.

im excited about ufc 148. I hope anderson beats chael in the same fashion as he schooled leben and forrest.

and its nice to know that even though chael disses bjj he's not that stupid to not work on it.

Chael will diss anything that will get him attention. He plays the guy you love to hate role perfectly.

Also...last fight ever for Tito...I think he'll pull one out...especially since Forrest looks mostly lost these days.

The ufc fox match was actually way better than ufc 149.
Machida really impressed me. I actually thought Bader was going to knock him out prior to the match.
Shogun and Vera match was a war.

A very good match...very hard to define what was the more impressive win...Shogun had a tough match he gutted out against a more game opponent...Machida had a devastating knockout on a counter punch. The other main card matches were fun too.

I personally blame Joe Silva famed matchmaker who been giving us weak cards . Then Dana and the head ups. Its finally caught up to them.
Jon Jones doesnt owe those other fighters anything.
Even though I would have loved to see Chael get destroyed.

Agreed...was surprised at how little outage there was at Dana/UFC for cancelling a show because one fight was cancelled. Surely they could've gotten in shown on free tv somewhere and at least got advertising dollars that way (PPV would've been a hard sell.) And despite UFC bringing in tons of external talent, very often I'm seeing tons of fights with no one I know (and I watch a lot of MMA.) For quality's sake they should cut back by 4-5 cards a year.

Good point on Jones getting his title shot via an injury as well. Rashad seems like a good guy who sometimes is too awkward to be likeable.
