Used a continental grip, good follow through, total obliteration of the racket head.
Not to mention, good body language: completely disgusted.
Very classy.

Not a conventional toss, but I'm sure Perrier loved the added attention:

Stan Wawrinka US Open 2012 vs Djokovic
On a scale of 1-10 I'd give the end result a 9.9. I didn't watch the match so I can't speak to our usual criteria of form. From the results it looks like he was expressing total disgust with life and the world though.

The most amazing part of it was that kind of damage resulted from a throw, not a smash. It left his hand before it hit the court and still was obliterated. Remarkable.

Did everyone see today's racket mauling by Nole after being broken at 5-5 in the first set of the Shanghai finals against Murray? He went ballistec!!!

Looks like Murray also went on a racquet rampage. Video quality isn't that good but from what I see his strength is on display here.

Always nice when a match features a good smash on both ends.
Here's a photo of Andy's finished product:

I saw Nole's work. I must say it was impressive and he totally gets points for losing his usual cool composure. I think he might just take the prize this year.

I agree. That was an awesome display.

I almost must say that his final move (the racquet flinging) is just perfect as an ending and as a hallmark of utter disgust.
