    Kim Jung Il has died.

Apparently on Saturday from a massive heart attack.

I don't think so. That was my first thought.

Hmmmm.... I wonder. Wasn't his son being groomed to take over? I expect status quo.
    I disapprove of this message

You are a good person, Munchin. My first reaction was of joy. Happiness. Whenever one of these bastards dies, I feel the world is a better place.
This sicko has ruined (together with his father, may he burn in the hell I don't believe in forever) the lives of millions and millions.
Yes, lets hope for change. By I doubt it.

Apparently his youngest son is the new leader. I forget what his title is.

MSNBC showed the official announcement from North Korea a few minutes ago. The news reader was in tears.

    Kim Jong-Un.

I'd be willing to bet 10 TAT dollars that the announcement was staged.

You should bet your TAT medals. You would double your count.

    Yeah, this too

I refuse to believe that people can actually be brain-washed to this extend and am assuming it's somewhat staged or forced.

Or taken out of context. Maybe they're imploring for food.

I think it's totally possible. A lifelong cocktail of fear, oppression, propaganda and desperation. Cult of personality is a very fitting term.

I believe they're calling him "The Great Successor".

Kim Jung Un, the great successor, reportedly attended a private school in Sweden (maybe it was Switzerland) and has some other travels to free countries under his belt. I'm hoping that these experiences might make him a better leader. I think the real question is going to be who will actually be ruling North Korea now. The great successor is only 27 years old and his 4-star general rank is for nothing but show. He has no experience in starving and suppressing ruling his people. I would imagine old cronies in leadership positions or the military will probably actually be calling the shots.

The sooner these sicko leaders die, the better. Good riddance.

That's what I was looking for Kirkus. I knew he wasn't "beloved" yet.

Let's hope this will change soon.

For the record, most of the images of people mourning profusely came from state media... Just sayin'...
