No way! That sounds like a show the NBC on 30 Rock would create. Not, you know, the real NBC...

Sad thing is, I could well see it rating better than most of their acclaimed shows (the few they have).

Craig and I just watched the first three episodes of GCB last night. It was pretty bad, but Kristen Chenowith is, of course, terrific. I'm hoping that one of these days she'll get a role on a show that will stick.

    Mad Men returns tonight.

"As Mad Men returns after a 17-month hiatus, fans of the series eagerly await the news: Will ad man Don Draper’s impetuous engagement to his secretary, Megan, produce a happy marriage? Is there a future for lonely-heart copywriter Peggy Olson with her new leftie boyfriend? How will coronary-prone partner Roger Sterling react if he finds out office manager and chief bombshell Joan Harris did not abort his baby? Will Joan’s husband survive Vietnam – and will the agency survive the loss of top client Lucky Strike?

    ......"

The gin is (always) in the fridge.

I just put the martini glass in the freezer. Should be nice and cold by 9:00.

    Nothing here about "Scandal"?

I found it wordy and rushed since they had to introduce all the characters and other than the case of the week the introduced the Big Affair Secret. But the bones are there for a very good night time soap.

Ms Washington is not only very attractive but she is able to be the lead.

Neil McDonough's acting on "Justified" is simply jaw dropping. His descent into madness/drug addiction has been stunning to wat in the train wreck sense of stunning.

They have approached the matter of race this year with a sensitivity and realism rarely seen on television. There are no caricatures on either side just people who live in the same space and have worked things out.

They've also focused on violence against women, the effect of the pill mills on the locals, and yet the pace is that of real life.

It's been an amazing season on top of the first two that were equally amazing. The season finale is Tuesday.

I thought the same thing. I had trouble following it for the first 20 minutes or so because they were all talking so fast, but finally my brain caught up, and I enjoyed it.

I think it's sad that after all those years on the air, the probable series finale for CSI:Miami was delayed 52 minutes and so nobody really watched.

It must have aired on CBS.

"Community" spoofed "Law & Order" tonight with the approval and assist of Dick Wolf. Hi-larious.

The ending was totally unexpected though.

PBS is finally airing the second series of "Sherlock" starting with "A Scandal in Belgravia". It's rare to see sexuality in all it's nuance explored in a television presentation. I've watched it twice and it will stand a third viewing.

For a discussion here's an article.
