Re: Ladies' Wimbledon Picks & Results Thread

Yeah I don't think most of us left should be too bad. I have 6 of the remaining 8 people left to pick from and only 3 picks to go - and the only ones I've burnt are Lisicki and Pironkova. As long as neither makes finals I'll be ok...if I pick right of course.

For the unprobable case beaujarkko doesn recieve my PM:
won't be online later, but would like to take Petra Kvitova for day 8.

For the love of god...when are we gonna have an updated thread? I'm almost more excited at the prospect of making that then of winning the whole thing!

Expect one tonight, PT. Beaujarkko is travelling for work this week, and trying to get things done in between other commitments. Sadly, TAT can't afford to hire us full time to run games.

Maybe we can swap baked goods for services?

I'm just teasing (well...not teasing about the being excited about and updated thread - I figure as long as I make one a year I'm doing ok.)

There's a thought. But, I wonder if my bank would accept a delicious jelly donut in lieu of a mortgage payment this month?

    Paszek - 3 (through)
    Sharapova - 2 (through)

So it appears that if Wozniacki closes out Cibulkova, we lose no one on Day 7. But Serena has match point against as I write this; that might mess up someone's plans. (Though let the record show I had her losing to Bartoli in my draw. If only Schiavone had come through ...)

I'm glad you did! Thank you!

Thanks, Moose! I'm on lunch break right now, so we'll see if I can't get all caught up.

    What are you implying?

    ---END OF THREAD---

I will be creating an updated thread as soon as possible. The Wozniackied will be on it. (It was supposed to go up last night, but I was worn out from a long day of cross-country travel, sightseeing, and tennis. Whew.
    Glad you're back
