That's a dangerous strategy! He's been accidentally winning some matches on fast surfaces this year!

So the cut-off would be the beginning of play the first day of the tournament then?

Yup. On the other hand, we'll be rooting for a late withdrawal.

Well...really we'll be rooting for a R1 loss more...I guess if our player has a bye...

Say you have Federer in Basil, you can dump him throughout the week and the trade will come into effect for the next tournament.
So yes, you can trade them off even while they're playing a tourney. (it won't affect your team for the ongoing tournament)

I do have a question though. Do we have some nice way of checking who is signed up for which tourneys? I based my whole team on Beijing/Tokyo but it would have been smarter to make sure my guys are going to play a lot...
I put in the work and wanted it so badly but this guy is the best for a reason. He is such a complete player ... maybe I'll just punch him or something, I don't know. - Andy Roddick

Ah, you haven't yet discovered Amie's handiwork in another TAT subforum!

They're only as good as her source, but it's very helpful.

Very good source (thanks ti-amie!). Of course most tournaments links came up after the deadline...hardly her fault though Sometimes I'll search for the tournament sites myself but didnt have time to look past the first two weeks for this one.

After the deadline? The entry deadline or the contest deadline? Cuz there's a list in there for Paris...

This is exactly what I was looking for. Time to research some trades! Thanks Ti!

Half, I think. I think everything except for the tournaments the week of Stockholm was up prior to the deadline. And those might have been too, I just can't remember for sure. It was close. But I remember looking at them and being relieved that most of my guys were entered somewhere that week. Like I said, I just can't remember for sure. But it was definitely close.

I know they weren't up when I posted my team, but that was sometime Saturday.

And be warned, the tournament sites can be fiction--who they WANT to show up. This is especially true this time of year for the WTA. But sometimes that's the best we have for events at the end of a fantasy contest until Amie can get better info from her tennis dealer.

Oops....forgot that Paris was definitely up too.

Another way to cheer in this contest...if your player actually winds up winning a bunch, just tell yourself that they're tiring themself out for next week...and will lose early or have to withdraw (POST DEADLINE.)

Note - the above cheering strategy is not applicable for Paris.

In my experience I've found Ti's rosters more accurate than the official ones.
