Oh, sorry for confusion. Alison Riske is a challenger level player who just beat Chakvetadze and as far as I know she didn't say anything. It was just my own thoughts..

Maria vs Sesil in the quarterfinal. This is so 2005.

Anna Seems like she had her chances, hopefully she can at least build on these consecutive match wins

A win over Tanasugarn would have been unexpected but still after the first set, I was hoping Sania would pull through

But hasn't Maria smacked the crap outta poor "I wasn't doping, I was actually all knocked up! And I'd rather come up with this banquet of bull and risk having everyone think I'm a 2 lira tramp than to tell the truth and admit I was on the good stuff!" Sesil since Special K pledged to kick Maria's ass?
Your point it well taken, though. It's a fun match-up.

So 'Sesil' is just a nickname, then? I never knew her family name before....

Re: WTA INTL Aegon Classic/Birmingham 6/7-6/13/10
Of all things, Alison and Wickmayer are involved in a match of WTA players actually holding serve. Only one break this match so far.

Re: WTA INTL Aegon Classic/Birmingham 6/7-6/13/10
Not a bad week for the unknown Allison Riske. Ranked at a career-high 185, she beat the 7th seed Olga Savchuk in qualifying. In the main draw, she's won three matches, including over the ninth seed, 48-ranked Aleksandra Wozniak, and former top-tenner Anna Chakvetadze. And she's now up a break on WIckmayer in the third set.
Canada reaches the quarter-finals SEMI-FINALS!! of Davis Cup for the first time ever

GO ALISON!!!!!!!!!!!
Wickmayer just played dreadful tennis to get down 5-2- and then, it was pretty nervy from both the last two games. Still, of all things, Alison's serves saved her this whole match.
