Re: UPDATED Women's RG SP Picks & Results
This is so not a good time to realize I've already picked Wozniacki (although better than tomorrow morning, I guess)

Re: UPDATED Women's RG SP Picks & Results
There are 8 women in the Roland Garros quarterfinals, and with tomorrow's pick, I already have used 5 of them in the pool!
EDIT: Oh, and did I mention that I used one of them on Day 1 in the pool?!?!?Winston, a.k.a. Alvena Rae Risley Hiatt (1944-2019), RIP

Re: UPDATED Women's RG SP Picks & Results
I always struggle with when to bite the bullet. I did a pretty good job throughout the first week of staying out of the middle two quarters as much as possible. But it turns out that staying out of those sections is ultimately what did me in because the bullet I bit on Day 8 (combined with my Day 1 blunder) ended up shooting myself in the foot. I can't have a pick for the final, and a lot can still go wrong between now and then.
I'm trying to stay happy for Nadia, though, in spite of the fact that she bit me twice. LOL!Winston, a.k.a. Alvena Rae Risley Hiatt (1944-2019), RIP

Re: UPDATED Women's RG SP Picks & Results
Nope. I've used both in the bottom quarter.
I'd be okay if this were an event where the halves of the draw had come together.
Has anyone done a count on the number that can still beat the draw? I haven't checked and am guessing it's a decent number in spite of the large number that already has used Elena but still have Nadia and Caroline and/or Fran.
Nothing automatic about the Caro/Fran match, either. Lots can still go wrong.Winston, a.k.a. Alvena Rae Risley Hiatt (1944-2019), RIP

I blame Pennetta. She was supposed to beat Caroline, and should have. Don't even start me on my faith in Venus Williams

Re: UPDATED Women's RG SP Picks & Results
Anyone know why Stosur/Petrova retired from their doubles match? I think Caro gets to the final at this point so not sure who to pick between the hotmess that will be Elena/Petrova.
