Please, Brazil, want some magic. If not, Ivory Coast, make the big upset!

Brazilians don't do magic any more. I am pretty sure they will win, though.

By the way purely on paper this is one of the weakest Brazilian teams in a long time.

If you want to see a free flowing attacking football I suggest Argentina instead. Messi is better than anyone Brazil currently has.

Hmm, but my opposition to Argentina is deeply rooted...

Not a fan of Argentina per se, but usually I prefer them over Brazil...

Good goal, but as usual defense is Achilles heel for African teams. I was just looking at tournament tables and if Ivory Coast goes on to lose today there is a good chance that no team from Africa will reach the round of 16. That kind of doesn't seem appropriate for the first African World Cup... Not that there is anyone else, but themselves to blame.

Spain are the 2010 World Cup Champions!

Despite their slow start would include Spain and Ghana on that list. Ghana is young, green and raw, but very fun to watch.

I agree. By the way Cameroon was entertaining too. Did you see their last match with Denmark? Most entertaining match I've seen so far. However we won't see them in the second round and I suspect we will not see Ghana there either.

As systematic as they now appear, I do prefer this brand of play under Dunga. Before there appeared to be too much emphasis on the tricks, now the players can flourish under a set system, as that last goal emphasized. Although it probably should have been ruled a handball. But that's par for course this WC.

I don't recognize many of these Brazilian players. Are Ronaldo/Rivaldo/Ronaldinho all old and retired?

You are living in the past. They still play, but too old to be selected as strikers for national team. Perhaps Ronaldinho (30) still could have been here, but his last seasons have been sub-par...
