Listen you two, you are almost making me feel guilty.

    But I'll get over it!

Congrats shtexas! Very well done. I think the difference between you and me was Tommy Tool Haas who really tied my hands with trade options.

Martini, sorry man, what else could I say.

    Re: TFT: THRNY 2009 Scoreboard

Nope, not I...I'd used my trades even before New Haven due to the draw gods dislike of me this contest! It was Martini who didn't use the trades. Just picking someone who was in the draw would've been an automatic point and at least a medal tie. Ouch!

Debating over who my biggest waste of space was. Sela was a dud, but I should've known that picking him...just cuz he was playing a lot. I was expecting much more from Tursonov too so it may be a toss up between those two!

    Congrats Shtexas, Munchin, and Miles!

I also want to give a huge Thank You to Munchin for administering this contest with me. Couldn't have asked for a better partner in crime, so to speak

Also a huge thanks to Dry and everyone else who has lent a helping hand throughout running the contest

Miles sure has amassed quite the number of medals, even passed Dry.......

Perhaps it's time to look into starting AMAM?

    Re: TFT: THRNY 2009 Scoreboard

    Missed it by THAT much!!!!!

And while I did think the contest ran through the USO, I didn't leave any trades unused. I made my last three trades before Montreal, at which point I may or may not have believed that USO was part of it. But I'd made my bed by that time at any point. I should give big thanks to Yu-Hsen Lu, who I think played in all six events and won only two matches. HE's the one who cost me the contest. I should be happy, as it's been ages since I've had better than a disastrous result in one of these fantasy contests.

Congrats to shtexas, munchin and miles.

Congrat shteas, munchin and miles. And yes, Martini, you (and someone else I also think highly of!) came close.

In my case, I gambled it all on Nole last week. Had he won, I think I would have finished in the money. But I'm glad I gambled on a favorite, rather than earn a medal I would not have felt quite as good about.

Munchin would have won had I not made that last minute decision to drop Roddick and add Nole for Cincy. That was a +63 decision.

Miles is just great at these fantasy contests. Consistently up there.

Now why'd you have to go and do something like that, shtexas?

This was a really close contest and it was the first one I've played with any actual diligence (using trades and whatnot) and it kinda hurt my head and it made me pretty nervous (If 1 or 2 matches went a different way in New Haven, I'd have been well out of the top 5). I don't know how dry and Miles and shtexas and everyone can keep playing and winning these things. Very impressive.

And it was a blast to help score the contest with Jessie. And more than a bit of work. Makes you really appreciate the effort the wonderful contest staff here has done.

You like to start groups to target the big winners deflecting attention from your 8 medals. Very smart.
