Memo to Marion, drop shots against Franny are a really, REALLY bad idea.

A double fault, a couple of loose forehands, losing four games in a row...

LOL at Bartoli - from 5-3 in the first, she's won 1 game.

I'm stoked for Vika! And I'm an official Cirstea fan now.
I am bummed for Domi though I'm not surprised she lost, shorties on grass is usually a bad combination.

TAT POLL
What excuse will Marion Bartoli use to explain her 3rd round loss?
* "The lawns were terribly maintained this year. Why can't the AEC hire a decent groundscrew?"
* "The crowd was annoying and clearly biased against a Frenchwoman. I've never felt so uncomfortable in another country."
* "I had a tummyache, I have not been feeling well since I arrived. I have many other sicknesses that prevent me from playing my best right now also."
* "The locker rooms are filthy and having to use them left me uncomfortable. Who can play tennis when the showers are covered with mildew, and you can't get a decent bar of soap?"
* "The French Federation is horrible to me. I cannot play my best when my fellow countrymen are sabotaging my efforts at every turn."
* "The food in England is beyond bad. You cannot find a decent crepe in this godforsaken pitiful excuse for a metropolitan area."
* "Pierce Brosnan texted me and said he was coming, but didn't show. I'll bet Virginnie, Tatiana and Alize gave him wrong directions. They are so jealous of my success."

Grounds crew or ground screw?

Because somehow Djokovic has been an afterthought this Wimbledon. Which is very strange. Very strange.
