We've always thought that, mathematically at least, Wimbledon is the easiest of the SPs, because you get 1st Sunday off, and the draws combine on Middle Monday for the R16. The problems with the French we've had over the years are two-fold, one the rain which has caused problems for the game, and two, you knew Justine would win the womens, and Roger was your semi final pick, and Rafa your final pick. Rafa may still be the person everyone saves, but both the WTA and ATP are now much harder to preict out through the end.

Re: Women's FOSP Picks & Results Thread

3mlm was right, 230 survived day 1. So far, 210 have made a pick for day 2, Monday.

There are a number of choices, but it looks like Kleybanova and Kirilenko are the big bandwagons.

Kleybanova is gone, so far gone. I vindictively hope that Kirilenko will crash out too.

I was really hoping for Kleybanova to crash out as I was going to bed last night. I thought she was a risky pick. She had actually beat Hercog three weeks ago, but then Hercog had won something like 7 straight clay matches and was coming into her first slam at 18 yrs old. I thought she might get inspired.

    Now... go Kirilenko's opponent!

Almost forgot to mention that 1 Amanmuradova picker is safely through

4 Pironkova pickers went down to Craybas. Were there TATeurs on that court today?
