I think Elena D does mean things to people on purpose. Like letting them get a lead and then summarily demoralizing them... One point at a time. And throwing in a double fault here and there just for kicks, to give her opponent false hope.
Send that woman to Eastwick.

ElenaD has looked great this week. Great groundies as always but her all around games is much more solid than in the past. Granted some might say that most of her opponents this week were not of top notch quality, but If she continues like this 2009 will be an incredible year for her.

Agree on her game and that serve is not a liability as it was in the past. Now, Dementieva will be tested in Sydney with S Williams, Safina, Zvonareva, Kuznetsova, and Petrova lurking.
