I'm sure I didn't spell that accurately, but it was a much longer name that started with a W and sounded Polish. Definitely not Vikic/Bikic.

I went looking for info on Sprem after reading this, since it seems like forever since I heard mention of her - The last time the WTA site lists info for her is losing in the first round of qualies at Estoril last April, and Wikipedia lists her as having retired as of October, 2011. She's only 27, and it is the WTA, so retire never seems to actually mean retire, but she really seemed to have flamed out after getting into the top 20 in 2004.

Yeah, Sprem's last match was when she retired up a set against Watson in Estoril where apparently she picked up some sort of wrist injury. Word is that she isn't officially retired, even though Wikipedia says that, but she doesn't have the motivation to start from the bottom AGAIN and try and work her way back. However she doesn't want to retire officially yet either because she wants to leave her possibilities open, like you said she's only 27.
