Gah. Double-cheeked on the first day with admittedly sketchy picks.

Jessie, you know what I like... I'll have two.

And if you don't, just give me whatever. I'm not in a mood to choose.
    Glad you're back

    oh, beau!
    Sorry you're low,
    but, you know,
what will make you feel better (or at least forget):

The DOUBLE CHEEKED adapted from the Between The Cheeks cocktail

    1 1/2 oz dark rum
    1 1/2 oz brandy
    1 oz triple sec
    1 oz lime juice

Pour the dark rum, brandy, triple sec and lime juice into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Garnish with two maraschino cherries, and serve.

    Virginie Razzano:

    How did you do it?

No, really. HOW IN THE WORLD DID YOU MANAGE TO DO IT?

I mean, I didn't see the match, but I'm picturing something like "Indiana Jones 5: The Quest for Losing to No. 108 Rodina after winning the First Set 6-0" - Rated S for Stupid.

But just to correspond to your great efforts, I wanted to let you know that I also went to great lenghts to find out how to say "You suck" in French.

    So, Virginie Razzano, ma cherie:

    TU ES NULLE!!

    There.

    Thanks Scotty

I do get to live vicariously through my brothers, though. That's fun, too.

(I also loooooove the fact that one of them has a medal that is conspicuously absent from my profile... )
    Glad you're back

Here's an example of the dedication of the Losers' Lounge staff. Our lovely barmaid Jessie sacrificed his own Wimbledon SP chances in order to be here. He simply didn't make a Day 2 pick, with the sole goal of spending more time serving YOU (and holding back the Bondarenkos' hair after they go a little overboard with the Red Panties Scotty makes)

How do you end up going five against someone whose last name is a type of lettuce?

You lose the first set and anything can happen. It's devastating!

just stopping by to do a little recon and grab a pick me up (Irish Coffee anyone?). Minar's in the fifth, and Mirza is in the third, so I could be here for the long haul....
