    Men's SP Rankings

With the men's SP officially over for this year's Roland Garros (and in order to avoid forgetting like last time), here are the Suicide Pool Rankings for the last four Grand Slams, completely updated to include this tournament.

    Re: Men's SP Rankings

Congratulations to Moose who holds the lead atop the standings!

And to awkw4rd nub and shadow, tied for second just 15 points behind.

However, with 200 points coming off, 7 of the top 8 have quite a challenge to defend their standings in a few weeks!
    I'll miss you!

Once again, I'll claim I'm not listed because I don't participate in these mysterous "suicide pools"... they sound fun though. Perhaps one day I'll enter.

Congrats to all. I know this has been asked before, but is there a link or a file that contains the points earned for each number of days? I'm sure there are a lot of people that would like to know how far off the list they are (or maybe not).

There actually is not, nor has there ever been. However, you can look at any Grand Slam individually and glean a good idea of how points are calculated. If you are genuinely interested, I can provide an answer by PM, but you can estimate it this way: the 50th place contestant average was just under 23 points, which is the number of points earned by getting to day 6. So you can use that as a barometer to find out how far off the pace you are. The average score is much lower now than it has been in the past due to more difficult draws. In the women's draw, not a single person beat the draw in the last three grand slams so if anyone does it this time, they'll be in the lead. Similarly, in the men's, no one has beaten the draw since Wimby last year, so the longer you last, the more easily you'll scale the ladder. (Or, in my case, hover around the 30s )
    I'll miss you!

    Re: Men's SP Rankings

This presents another good argument for why there needs to be more time separating Roland Garros and Wimbledon.

I think both nelslus and tenor have won, and maybe beau's bros? Or some extension of the Kirkus clan?

It's also possible that one person has four or more by themselves...I'm too lazy to look this up.
