It's true!
Well, we only had four options with "may challenge for #1 later." I figure we're young in the contest, show promise but have some bad results, and - of course- we're all recently buff.

Or maybe we're Djokovic because we're sassy.

Great. You just cursed us all, Jessie. None of us will ever have an individual ranking higher than the 80s.
Hope you're satisfied.

Re: Battle of the Boards Bracket Contest
I'm in 162nd place, yet I've played in only four of the ten events. I don't have scores for 6 of the next 7 events. Lots of opportunity to make up ground. I guess we'll be movin' on up, to the east side, to a deluxe apartment in the sky high....
Go Tateurs!

When was the other? When Tathiana Garbin's 200 bonus points for beating Justine at Roland Garros came off?

Zuzana made the finals of Prague in 2005.
How many clay court finals has Venus made since 2005?

Oh please. Venus isn't allowed to play well until Wimbledon or later in the season.

Re: Battle of the Boards Bracket Contest
As most of you will know, in order to retain some degree of sanity, when one Masters 1000 event starts almost immediately after another one ends, we only run a pick 'em for one of them. I promised to let you know which one it would be by the end of February and we have now decided, thanks partly to it being someone's birthday just before Indian Wells starts - not mine, so that narrows it down a bit!
The second 'Battle of the Boards' ("BOTB") pick 'em of 2009 will be Miami, as in previous years.
Remember that Miami has a midweek start. Entries will open at http://www.britishtennis.net/Competitions.html by late evening (UK time) on Monday 23 March, qualifiers are likely to be placed by about 22.00 GMT / 18.00 EDT on Tuesday 24 March and entries will close at 14.00 GMT / 10.00 EDT on Wednesday 25 March.
If having Dammit the Frog, Gonzo and all the other muppets messing you around only once next month is insufficient punishment to satisfy the masochist in you, I believe the ATP Bracket Challenge (which unlike BOTB covers every Masters event but, also unlike BOTB, covers none of the slams) will start 2009 in Indian Wells.

Re: Battle of the Boards Bracket Contest
Great, another contest where I can crash and burn.
(the mopey Fed series suits the comment the moment perfectly)
