WOOT for Elena! Venus moved to 6 but not playing this week is gonna see her right back down.

I wish Serena did not drop but moved up, still glad she's still in the top 10 though.

Marion is not the only person left in the top ten I wish would disappear and never return, but I'll leave her for now as long as she remain where she is not climb to the top 6.

Your wish on Marion will be granted after Wimbledon. Lets be patient.

I think it's literally impossible for Nadal to pass Federer until the US Open series unless Federer loses points.

If Nadal loses points, which he almost certainly will, Djokovic should have a good shot at passing him.

Of course, whether Nadal or Djokovic is irrelevant to the number two spot, because Davydenko will catapult himself there very soon!

I say its possible for Rafa to become number 1 after clay court season: Roger has to defend - Monte Carlo final (350) + Hamburg win (500) + RG final (700) = 1550 points. Given, how poorly Roger is playing and feeling at the moment, few early round upsets can happen.

Rafa has to defend all of his points, but it is possible for him (some were saying he won't defend last year, but he did actually gained points because he played Hamburg)

Oh I don't mind Marion so much, I know a lot of people do but if we are gonna know her I know at least someone else who should join her.

Isn't Venus also defending quarterfinalist points at Amelia Island? That would be a few points she didn't defend as well (Assuming she doesn't play Charleston as well)

There's also that Wimby win...dunno the # of points, but an early loss there certainly makes it possible.

And as for Bartoli..she may not even be top 30 by year end!
    Thanks for the medal Johanna!

Completely agree, and Fed has some Rome pts to defend also. I just hope that Rafa can do it.

well there's bad and bad ...
Bad for Amelie is losing in the third round of top tier tourneys... instead of making semis or more. But a third round in a big tourney is great for a top 30 girl ...
