Correct as I just looked the AO draw again. The AMS commentary said that he won only one match against Top 10 players.

P.S. Say what you will about you acknowledge to be your "age", ANGEL- but explain then why Craybas calls you "daddy?"

She's trying to get me to make that slouchy Justine face.
Jill Craybas is and always will be a whole month older than me.

An article on the ATP site said he's only the second player in the open era to have the year ending #1, lose it, then get it back. Most people who get knocked off their throne never get it back. I had no idea it was such a rare feat, so it makes this year even more impressive to me.

He was already #9, so I suppose you mean into the top 8, which is true. Soderling is #8 right now, but Verdasco could pass him if he wins tomorrow against Murray and Soderling loses to Davydenko and Soderling loses his semifinal match. Soderling can get to #7 if he beats Davydenko on Friday and makes the final, and to #6 if he wins the tournament.
