    Re: ATP 250 WTA P Eastbourne 6/24-6/30 2019

Bencic took care of her problem by lossing the 2nd match today, albeit in 3 sets. Now she should be able to approach Wimbledon with a bit of a break. I don't recall if she is playing doubles, however.

I do agree with you on many levels, although if that is the standard we are using, I think Bianca's birthday celebration photo (post 1119 in the thread) is worse IMHO, because I think her and her...

To be fair, no worse than what I hear at karaoke a few times a night the rare times I go.

Maybe Margaret Court is advising her ;). I do agree with you, though, even though I had to look up what HAM stood for. Count on TAT to always expand my knowledge of acronyms.

Bless his heart, I can't think when was the last time that he made it past the first couple of rounds in any tournament. I wish him well in his post-playing future.

Both Barty and Goerges pulled out of Eastbourne with injuries/illness. Barty with right arm injury, Goerges with GI tract illness. Wonder when Kenin and Bencic will announce their issues and...

This isn't the first time this has happened. I know that Democrats (they were known as the Killer Bees) did that in TX (went to Oklahoma) years ago to prevent a quorum (over redistricting) and I...

    Re: ATP M500 London, Halle 6/17 - 6/23 2019

It seems funny to me that the men's trophy's are so huge - an ordinary person would have to build a display case (or some such piece) just to hold it. They are going to sit on the fireplace mantle.

Sticky: Re: Talk about Rankings (TAR :))

Actually, I think she has a very good chance at Wimbledon - I wouldn't go overwhelming favorite, but she is comfortable on grass, is a former jr. champ (I know, I know, that doesn't really mean that...

I just got through reading "The Grapes of Wrath". A great read for those who think history doesn't repeat itself. So much of what Steinbeck wrote about is mirrored in the migrant situation and echoes...

    Re: ATP 250 WTA P Eastbourne 6/24-6/30 2019

Eastbourne has always attracted a strong women's field - years ago (1980s) some of the players thought the grass courts were better than Wimbledon's. I don't think that that has changed, even though...

    Re: Politics Random Random

The question should be "Is there a vetting process (besides randomly drawing names of supporters)?" Doesn't seem like it.
