Re: covid-19 Virus Updates and Discussion

W was no intellectual giant. And we are forgetting about a whole lot of things he did (find his record on DEATH PENALTY cases when he was governor of Texas). But he accepted being briefed. He...

Yes. But it says GENERALLY. Sounds like a guideline, not a precise statement. Seriously, these laws are a joke.

Middle age? MIDDLE AGE?!:mad::mad: Show some respect, woman! What's left for those of us considerably older?!
(Gone shopping for a wheel chair and a walker. And anti-depressants, too :( )

    Re: World News Random, Random

I know and I agree with Steven Pinker that, overall, there has never been a better time in the history of mankind. Any of his graphs showing progress over the last 400 years are correct.
    But right...

She has stayed on the job because if there would be one area, and one area only, which Tiny cares nothing at all, it must be education. Both as a social construct, and as a personal issue.

    Poll: Great strokes. Smash. WTA

There are few that have mastered this stroke. The current crop does not use it a lot, preferring to back-pedal and take a swinging volley. So this is the smallest selection.

    Martina Navratilova....

Poll: Re: Great strokes. Smash. ATP.

This was one category that I felt was really decided before I posted. About Monfils, absolutely. He is wonderful at it. But so were Noah, Mac, and so many others. Gael will be here soon, worry not....

Match fixing on exo's? Gee, who would have thought!
(I thought all exos were fixed. Don't play to 100%, split the first two sets, then give it a little bit more in the third)

(They are pretty much in the same league. A few slams each, handsome but not outworldy so, prize money around the same. Yeah, it might work)

    Re: World News Random, Random

But, if you look at Colombia and then extrapolate to the rest of America, you can get, not a perfect picture, but a generally valid one. Colombia and Peru have similar structures and a shared...

Oh. How brave. How Heroic. What a patriot, Mr. Mueller. You had the chance to come up forward and tell the USA that the president had committed crimes. You must have a copy of the report YOU...

If you did not have this Cro-Magnon as president, somebody would be working on new ways to fuel up an economy:

    Poll: Great strokes. Smash. ATP.

At the ATP level, nobody has a weak smash. Most players can put away such a ball with no issues. So, the selection here will be shots that are not only reliable and solid, but have something...

Serious question, because if Yastremska can be educated, I guess so can I.
Sloane puts up the same post. Same caption. What is the reaction?
And I must stress. It is a serious question.

Re: A Chronicle of our Descent to Hades

Right now it will not make a difference because of COVID. But it would be so great if for one week, on normal times, illegal immigrants would not show up for work in the USA. See how the economy...

No. ETA is Nov 4th, when he refuses to concede his defeat.
And then, Satan himself will point to another door and say "Oh, you didn't know we have a cellar? Please, come with me".
