    Situation in Italy seems to be improving at last. Down from 900+ deaths per day to 525 yesterday. Also reduction in new infections and in occupied intensive care beds.

    I wouldn't say we are mighty isolated here. Walking through a local park now. Probably around 100 people here sunbathing, playing badminton, having a picnick etc.

    There will be very few in this case just like in poor countries with a society memory of lots of deadly infectious diseases there are hardly any.

    I would add that how many people get infected is dependent on two values - the intrinsic value for the given disease (for example, much higher for measles than influenza) and how freely people mix....

    If your situation is very simple you don't need an outside help with your taxes. I did mine just fine when I lived in US and my only income was a graduate student's fellowship.

    NBA has less travel, but unavoidable close contact during the game. Not sure it's going to work for them either.

    Didn't NBA consider it early on? And then players started to get infected. You probably can't keep an appropriate distance in the locker room + how about all the international travel?

    Don't bet on that. Anecdotical evidence says that other Asians are more sceptical of China than Westerners not less.
