    Re: Supreme Court Watch

This is pretty meaningless. Lower courts don't have an option where SCOTUS has already spoken on an issue. Overall she seems very willing to overturn any precedent she thinks was wrongly decided,...

    Re: Covid19 & Tennis

I think the jury's still out on the extent, but it's at least possible: Some of the possible long-term effects can affect even patients who are asymptomatic or have mild cases of COVID-19.

    Re: Covid19 & Tennis

It will be interesting to see if Novak has been affected or not, given his old stamina issues.

    Re: Covid19 & Tennis

For anyone who doesn't follow much hockey, this is a really big name player and it's a huge deal. Boston made the Cup finals last year and they definitely have much better odds with Rask in net....

Can someone explain the ruling on this point please? It's from earlier this year. I thought the rule was you don't get two chances to win the point. So Diatchenko hits the sideline, it's called out,...

I'm confident they're already fully aware. It's just that they're in the middle of an elaborate production and they can't break the fourth wall now. But they all know.

Re: Great Strokes. The DROP SHOT

I'm not entirely sure what's in/out here, so I'm limiting this to players who can hit a deceptive drop-shot from around or behind the baseline. Federer, Kyrgios, Tomic, Monfils are my nominees.

    Re: Maria Sharapova Has Retired

I'm willing to cut her a lot of slack on her pre and post performance before concluding it was the drug. She took a forced 15 month vacay at age... 29? 30? Then came back under a ton of pressure to...

Re: covid-19 Virus Updates and Discussion

I think a new administration would provide informed guidance and actually support states that want to do the right thing. If that means Dem governors only, so be it. At the end of the day you can't...

It's close, I realize the things I would say about Rafa can probably be said about Novak. It's probably not objective on my part, I factor in those early-career retirements that were likely more...

Federer for sure. I think the reason it's not as noticeable is that a lot of it is in prep and anticipation. It's what allows him to get such a jump on things that it makes his retrievals look...
