    Re: The Kitchen

The bacalao I had in Puerto Rico is VERY different.

First, when you are shopping for bacalao at the market, you know when you're getting close to it in the fish section because you can smell it....

    Re: World News Random, Random

Thank you for sharing this, Jeff. I had not heard anything of it. Kiva has a field partner that works in Samoa, Solomon Islands, Fiji, and Tonga. I'll keep an eye out for updates from them. Each of...

Re: covid-19 Virus Updates and Discussion

We decided to shut in completely (again) for the next few weeks, so in preparation, we did a HUGE grocery shopping. I was able to score enough beef (good beef, too!) for about 3 weeks.

    There was...

I'm already seeing pleas from Sanders supports begging people to write-in Bernie Sanders in November. They just refuse to learn anything.

    Can you imagine?

"No, all can and bottle labels in the cupboard MUST face forward!"

"No, you can't serve underhanded while playing table tennis. It lacks respect!"

Or the way he jumps up...

It is horrible, Jeff. But thank you for making sure we were aware of it. People in Ecuador (and other countries) are important, too.

Bacalao is an acquired taste for sure. I am used to the Puerto Rican version. Do you happen to know if the Haitian version of bacalao is different?

WHO's Situation Report for April 6, 2020. (I think that's an error. It should be for April 5).

    A few things to note:

    1) Spain has officially passed Italy in the total number of confirmed...

White people are not in a good position to educate people of color, like JazzNU, on the matter of racism. Let's keep that in mind.
