So, I just bought non-refundable tickets for tonight's performance of Time Stands Still, with Laura Linney. Of course, that's when a note came up that Laura Linney won't be performing today. FAIL

    Re: The Broadway/Theater Thread

I went to see it Tuesday. It was great!

For some reason, my expectations weren't that high, but the music (written by Bon Jovi keyboardist) was really good.

    Re: The Broadway/Theater Thread

I just want to say that I've seen La Cage aux Folles, in London and it just won a Tony for Best Musical Revival (I think it's the same production). It kind of sucked for such funny material, so I'm...

    Re: The Broadway/Theater Thread

Almost all shows go to TKTS, even sold out ones seem to. And we bought Hamlet (with Jude Law) tickets the day of at the box office. Your best bet is going mid-week, though.

Nothing TKTS or rush tickets can't fix.

I don't know anything about the play, but I'm going to look into it.

Oh, it was (is?) running in London for some time. There was a giant sparkly shoe on the roof of the theater entrance that was pretty awesome.

Nope, I haven't. In English, I've only seen the Kenneth Branagh version and the one with Patrick Stewart as Claudius

I saw Hamlet with Jude Law today. It ran for some time when I was in London, but I couldn't go because of exams.
