Re: 'RG Day 11 OoP & Discussion

A few days back we were discussing Marion Bartoli's retun to the tour. Not sure if anyone picked it up, but she played Women's Legends today, partnering with Navratilova. Clijsters/Tauziat took them...

Unlikely to happen, but it sure would be great to see Petko extend her career renaissance one more round.

And Gael breaks to get to 3-5 in the 5th. Didn’t see that coming,

And he breaks David to get back on serve in the 5th.

4:30 pm Paris time, with a set of Goffin/Monfils, plus 3 full matches, still to be played on Lenglen.

    Who schedules these things?

Re: '18 RG Day 7 OoP & Discussion

As if the energy level isn’t low enough, Monfils expends more continuing the argument over the time violation with David and the chair.

He might not even last 5 the way he looks right now.

Re: '18 RG Day 7 OoP & Discussion

Monfils not converting on any of those four match points at 4-5 in the 4th set may very well be the decider in this match. I’m pretty sure Goffin will take this in 5 now.

Anyone else surprised by how easy a time Diego seems to be having against Borna (at least from a scoreboard perspective, since the match isn’t on here)? Sure, Schwartzman is the higher ranked player,...

Shame, but between Masha/Pliskova the Greater, and now Rafa/RRS, this morning’s TC coverage of the French so far is about as exciting as watching grass grow.

Garcia had that red hot fall in Asia (back to back Premiere titles), followed up with the semis at the YEC. That’s why her ranking is so high.

Her most memorable Slam match was a loss - she was...
