Poll: Re: Great strokes. Forehand, ATP.

The forehand was the shot of late 90's/early 2000's when I first started following tennis--lots of guys not on this list had pretty lethal ones--Roddick, Rusedski, Philippoussis

To be fair, I think Ben has gotten most of us riled up enough with his tabloidy sensationalism at some point to cause us to clap back--I'll call it--ineloquently. However, someone should change...

Poll: Re: Great strokes. FIRST SERVE, WTA

10 years ago, she would have gotten my vote, but Serena's serve has improved since then while Vee's has deteriorated.

The women's serve changed so drastically in the late 90's that it is hard to...

I think maybe that's what I'm remembering. I saw her play a couple of times and she was missing her shots by a lot.

It's pretty well-known that she doesn't really like tennis and that her parents basically force her to play to support them.

They robot puppy could have a tongue that unfurls as a red carpet that rolls out, then upward to place the ball gently in the player's hand, accompanied by trumpet music or an angel chorus.

Agreed--the level of play is the best it's ever been IMO, and you can no longer just have one outstanding feature in your game and dominate the tour like what used to happen in the past.
