Of course that your doubt is justified, but trying to respond your question, maybe because he stands nothing to gain from this. Furthermore, I think he comes off worse.

I for one am not going to forgive you so easily. You see, you got my hopes up that you were bringing forward the follow-up to his 2019 Award Winning performance.

    Shame on you. Shame.

Re: Great Strokes. The DROP SHOT

For the men, Roger. Nalby on his BH side. I've seen some very good ones from Rafa but mostly on clay.

I still have to look into the women.

    Re: Strokes. The GOAT's. Results

Well, a slice serve is a type of serve just like kick and flat etc. (same applies for slice fh and bh I guess); but the drop and lob shot have their own very distinct mechanics. You can hit them from...

Or we could say just worst (insert stroke) in the current top 100.

Ponchi, did you consider polling for best drop/lob shot, slice, passing shot, etc?

    Re: Covid19 & Tennis

Sorry for the late response, but going back to Nole and his non-face maskedness: the object of the norm is to stop spreading the infection. If he had it recently (which rules out re-infection,...

As tempting as it is to pile on him, if he already had it and recovered, there's no reason for him to mask. The entourage is another story.

This week's Last Week Tonight should be mandatory watching. John Oliver deals with conspiracy theories.

We should totally start a bingo of sorts with this premise.

    Re: Covid19 & Tennis

    Certainly not looking good.

Plus, Europe wants to quarantine for two weeks all players that return from the USO making them miss a chunk of the European clay season. Not seeing this going forward.

Re: A Chronicle of our Descent to Hades

Not quite my area of expertise. I do agree that Plan Condor was more of a guideline. The hows, whens, wheres didn't matter and were left to the discretion of the perpetrators.

Poll: Re: Great strokes. Return of serve. ATP.

I think this is akin to comparing Isner's and Federer's serves. Who outright wins more points with it (aces) against who uses it better to position himself to win the point afterwards.

    Different...

Poll: Re: Great strokes. Return of serve. ATP.

Just last night I read an article about the best % in return of serve:

    Nadal and Schwartzman lead.

Per the ATP website, Nadal and Djokovic.

Numbers don't lie. I go with Rafa.

So she was probably unaware of something and it took her all of 60' to hear about it, understand and recapacitate?...

But why should she? She wasn't familiar with the background it has in one place in the world (which she isn't from). So if someone had to explain it to her, I don't see what's wrong with that.
