    I think that for herd immunity to be effective it has to be around 80-90% of the population. Though it may vary depending on the infectiousness of the disease. I'll see if I can find some numbers...

    China has imposed new restrictions in an area of 600,000 after new cases started to pop up.

    This is going to take a while until we achieve herd immunity or develop a vaccine.
