    Venus called for coaching a few times this week--at least twice. And yes, this is mostly a new thing. Before this week, I've seen it no more than once or twice. Can't remember for sure.

    Barty/Kontaveit combined came dangerously close to hitting triple digits on UEs. 93, I believe, was the final count. Even for 3 sets, that's awful.

    With Nishikori's loss, Zverev and Goffin are the only seeds left in the bottom half of the draw (7 and 16 respectively). What a mess. But in a way, it's also a fun mess.
