  1. Day 4 and 5 - Summer Training

GAH! MOVING IS A PAIN IN THE ASS!

So the last two days have been aggravating. I haven't been able to do much (aka anything) because I've been moving. I also feel like I ate something that I was allergic to because my face felt like it was on fire for some time. I know I have seasonal allergies but this was wild. Anyhoo, my Dad came on Sunday to help me move, so we ate out again! I was a little aggravated with myself, but I decided that the Turkey burger I got with ...

  2. Day 3- Summer Training

I finally played tennis! It's been about three months. My shoulder screamed at me a few times, but eventually I figured out how to hit a forehand without grimacing. I basically have to use a lot of wrist and legs. It's nowhere near as good as my normal forehand, but this means I can start playing tournaments again and just drop down a level.

    Day 3

Exercise: Dinara helped me workout a little harder today! I rode my stationary bike while watching the final. I ate breakfast ...

  3. Day 2- Summer Training

I'm moving this weekend, so things will be a little disorganized. I hope to be able to exercise more once I get settled.

Exercise: I did another 15 miles in 40 minutes on the stationary bike today while watching Djokovic/Nadal. The first set wasn't even over when I finished. I had hoped to ride the bike a bit more tonight, but I ended up falling asleep between 4 and 7 this afternoon. It's become a habit during the French because I get up super early to watch matches and ...

  4. Day 1- Summer Training

Hey gang! Yesterday, Thursday, was officially day one of my summer training. I'm still rehabbing my shoulder so I can't serve or hit forehands at full speed. Because of that, I'm focusing on diet and exercise (mostly cardio).

One of the important things of accomplishing a goal is to tell a bunch of people about it. So I'll be keeping track of my progress on here.

Over the last few days I've weighed myself a bunch of times. On average, my stats:

    Height: 5'9" ...

  5. Charlie's first blog

GVGirl has suggested I take advantage of our blog feature multiple times, so I'll try it out.

First, a little bit about me. I'm a junior in college. I go to a small, liberal arts college in Oregon (US). I became a huge tennis fan my senior year of high school, but I didn't start attempting to play seriously until the summer after I graduated. My freshman year of college I played as much as possible in tennis PE classes and in tennis club, and the next summer I got lessons and played ...
