    The 2020 U.S. Open men’s final has been universally decried as an abomination of the sport, a very sad match played at one of the game’s finest venues. Everybody is calling both players involved in the match anything short of a disgrace and comments about the quality of play range from four letter words to abysmal, with nothing being said about the match absolving it from damnation.

  2. Am I even a fan of tennis anymore?

    This sort of broadly speaks to why I feel I have been becoming less of a tennis fan lately.


    It's impossible to see any of it except for clip packages after the fact. I have to literally wade through seedy websites to find streaming feeds that are likely trying to give my computer STDs the whole way.


    I don't really want to pay yet another monthly subscription fee to be able to see any matches.

  3. The Summer of Nick Kyrgios

    The summer, North American portion of the ATP tour really started with the playing of the Rogers Cup in Canada. Although a few smaller tournaments are played prior to this Masters 1000, the Rogers cup brings out of their short Post Wimbledon sabbatical the top names. Montreal saw the return of Novak Djokovic to action, and the return of Rafa Nadal to hard courts. At Cincinnati, Roger Federer joined the tour once more and it all ended, in splendorous fashion, with Djokovic winning the U.S. Open. ...
