20 Questions - 2007 YEC

I was sad when I realized that all those wonderful TATeurs out there wouldn’t be in a contest having to do with the YEC, very arguably the fifth biggest tournament on the WTA schedule. Being a Good Samaritan, I decided to take matters into my own hands, by bringing back my little game ahead of schedule.

And so I present to you 20 Questions – 2007 YEC. It’s going to be an even less official version of the 20 Questions contest that I did during the US Open. And I’m sad to report that there aren’t going to be any t-shirts for the winners this time around :(. But, to be certain, bragging rights and fun are up for grabs :).

The only major change from the US Open edition is that all the questions and subquestions are each worth one point. There are therefore only 27 points up for grabs this go-round. Since fewer points increases the likelihood of a tie even more, I've added a couple questions about the doubles that will serve as tiebreakers. The rest of the questions all refer exclusively to singles.

I hope all of you who enjoyed playing 20 Questions during the first go-round come back and play again. And, of course, 20 Questions virgins are strongly encouraged to give this little game a try.
