San Diego...for now. And even if they are up 30 in the 4th I won't be confident of a win.

New England Patriots
On the surface, this is a no-brainer, but this has all the makings of a classic trap game. NE looking ahead to Indy the next week, being a big favorite at home against a non-conference opponent, who have actually been playing pretty well. But all the other games look real iffy to me, so I'm hoping NE has at least one more dominating week in them. Go Pats.

I may have the football equivialant of a Wimbledon rainout...no official word on if the Chargers are definitely playing on Sunday or not...may need an official ruling depending on what happens :)

They have said the game could be moved to the Cowboy's stadium, the U of Arizona stadium or Reliant Stdium in Houston. Or that it could be delayed til Monday, and played in San Diego, if it looks like there is a possibility of the stadium being available on 24 hours notice.

Let's hope that hopping the pond doesn't change anyone's fortunes.

If my Giants can't win this week, I don't deserve to still be in the pool...

Guys,
I will not be getting up to close the thread at 1pm ET, so just make sure that if you do change your pick, you must do so before 1pm ET today. You can use this thread for comments/discussion about the games today if you like.
Good Luck

Looking like we're going to have an uneventful 4-0 sweep this week. The only brief interest was when Miami got the TD - but then kicked the worst onside kick...ever. Houston's only down 25, so they could come back like last week of course.
I've done suicide football for 3-4 years now, and although I've never been on this big a pool, I'm pretty sure I've never seen anyone go more than 5 or 6 deep - I know I haven't. That 4 of us had made it 8 weeks deep is pretty impressive I think.
That said, looking at next week's games, especially with who I've already taken, is scary. No idea who to take as of now. Wonder if anyone is going to make a pick in the big game? I can't, I've already picked both teams ;)

I agree with pt that you guys are doing surprisingly well. I would have thought that this contest would have been over by now.
FYI--I will no longer do anything in the picks/results thread. I will just put each of your picks history in the current weeks' thread. No sense having the four of you having to look at separate threads each week. So when I post the week 9 thread tomorrow, it will have the relevant info.

I can figure out who I picked just by looking at the teams with the best records :) I've never made it deep enough before to regret having picked all the good teams. Still no clue what to do for next week yet.
