going into the semifinals, we had Cdavid99 and Marsny still alive.

Marsny opted to gamble on beating the draw, and took Chaks as the semifinal pick.

CDavid played the last avaialbe card in his/her deck (Henin).

With the Henin win, and the Chaks loss, CDavid99 is the only player still alive after the semi-finals. He cannot beat the draw, but has outlasted the other 238 players.

Congrats from TAT, all our members and SP players CDavid99. You have won the 2007 US Open Womens Suicide Pool.

We'll be in touch with you about your prize.

Thanks everyone! And for the record, I'm a "he". :) I basically got lucky since marsny went for the gusto by trying to beat the draw. I said this in another post, but thanks to the organizers/administrators!! You guys are great!

I've never done this "reply to quote" thing, so I hope it works. Beware of copying my picks. While I did happen to tie/win the women's French this year (along with about 20 others!), I lost on the first day of the men's US Open!

P.S. Haven't seen Hairspray yet, but you're saying James Marsden looks good in it? Maybe I'll have to check it out. ;)

Looks good, sings good, dances good ... it's all good.

(ok, I know that's not good grammar, but I was going for the parallel).

Movie is still in theaters around here, along with ... wait for it ... a SING-ALONG version.
