Thank you Kirkus for the Tat Arcade :)
Ever since I discovered the Arcade I've spent many hours in it and my eye sight is killing me, especially after every session with the mah-jong board.
I'm addicted, lousy at all the games, but no matter, I have fun.And the tournements are such fun.
I was wondering though if it would be possible to have a game of tennis in the arcade. Seems like a natural addition. Or is pong the closest on gets to tennis on the computer?

I'm glad you enjoy the arcade!! :)

We've actually been on the look out for a good tennis game. So far we've come up empty, though.

I'm not sure what the requirements are for you to get them in here, but this might help some folks get their fix:

Flash Tennis Game (http://www.gamedesign.jp/flash/tennis/tennis.html) also available here (http://www.killsometime.com/games/Game.asp?ID=412)

Flash Tennis Ace (http://games.crossmap.com/flash_play/tennis.htm) this one is campy

Super Chili Timers Tennis (http://tennisgame.jp/indexEN.html) This one is pretty elaborate

A tennis game would be awesome, not that I need yet another addiction.

The only demands I would make is that the game allow on court coaching, a pause button for bathroom breaks, and a bonus game that allows you to score points based on how many balls you hit into Mary Carillo's face. Otherwise, I'm easy to please. ;)

Thanks CJ,
Talk about ask and you shall recieve. But I think I've bitten off more than I can chew here. I tried playing the flash tennis 1 a couple of times and have not yet managed to make contact with the ball. A slight problem of hand-eye coordination. Wish there was a wall I could practise against. But never say die.
Off to try the 2nd Flash Tennis ace. More later

Just checked out Flash Tennis Ace. Campy like you said, but at least I connected with the ball a couple of times. Made more double faults than Dementiva though. Back to the drawing board, or should I say tennis cour

I'd also like to see instant replay, and the option to pull my shorts out of my butt in between serves.

I love the bonus idea - I have lousy aim, but it would still be fun trying! If it has the Sharapova shriek sound-effect, I'll be leaving my computer on mute.:)

Ah, we guys do that anyway. ;) And rearrange our pepito on changeovers.

Just saw this one: http://www.ebaumsworld.com/games/play/36427

It's a lot more difficult than it has any right to be. I don't know how anyone score 80 on it. I maxed at about 16, but it's the kind of game that those who frequent the arcade might just become obsessed with.

I'm only interested if I can play while wearing a skimpy top to show off my gorgeous paszeks.

In light of Jack's post, I find it quite suspicious that 16 is also Tamira's current age.

I'm just hoping Tamira maxes at 16 too, if you know what I mean. Otherwise she's gonna need a wheelbarrow in a few years to cart those things around.

Hmm, I joked to myself when I posted that link that it, being from ebaum's world, would soon lead this thread toward the dumpster.
