I see there were 65 users online simultaneously earlier today, a new record.

But what gives? Was there a party I didn't know about?

Hmmph!

Yes, it was 312, K. Dry's Amish community got Wifi, and Dry was giving them a seminar on how it worked, and directed them to TAT.

It's a "rain" party before the 4th of July!

Actually, I had a secret meeting of F-lo lovers in TAT chat that morning, followed by all of us who want to play strip poker with SAfin and Moya.

Not just the Amish, Moose... You'd be surprised how technologically proficient goats and horses can be! Of course, now I have to recarpet my living room.

Seriously?

*shakes head*

just when I thought we had you in the loop with our distorted sense of what passes for obscure humor...

In all seriousness, I'm trouble shooting a problem with our chat room and changed the "Online Users" to remove logged-out members after :30 minutes rather than :10 (which is where it should be).

I was astonished. But really, 312 users? Anything is possible.

And I'm still in the loop, don't worry. Besides, Dry and the Amish (WiFi notwithstanding) could go together (like rama lama lama ke ding a de ding de dong).

Me, I was impressed that the non-electrical power using Amish were able to generate enough juice out of some windmills to get Windows to boot up, Dry.

Grease meets Witness...with Kelly McGillis ditching her white bonnet and apron for a leather catsuit and a perm

Actually, I just made sure all the puters were fully charged and neglected to tell them about the DSL router. No skin off my back... I got 6 pints of fresh strawberries and a dozen frozen dutch apple pies out of it...

Oh yeah, and one promise of marriage when this one guy's daughter turns 18. I only consented because she looked a little paszekish. ;)

Most of them happened to be Yahoo robots, but don't tell anyone
