Am I the only one who thinks this SP is going to be way easier than the tennis pools? There's no incentive not to pick the good teams early and totally avoid any potentially close game. As one of the other posters said, just check out SF and Houston's schedules and you've got your pick for the week.

That said, I'm going eith Peyton and the boys...

Indianapolis

You'd think so, Snidester, but we lost 5 players allready last week. There's more than enough upsets to go around, and after a couple of weeks of picking top temas early, you're going to have to pick a closer match when we get to weeks 5-6 or so, or else you won't have any team saved for late in the season.

Since you don't have to "save" teams for the playoffs, you might as well burn some of the good teams early. Since most of the top teams have clinched playoff spots by the last few weeks, you need to use them before they have the scrubs playing in week 16 and 17. You also get a better feel for which teams are good late in the season so you can save the riskier picks for then.. No chance I'm picking the Redskins or Denver until we see if they really suck or it was a fluke.

You're dissing my Raiders, eh?

Well, you'll see! Â*[smiley=furious3.gif]

Aaron Brooks Â* 19-27 for 283 yards & 2 TD's
Lamont Jordan Â* 28 rushes for 114 yards & TD
Randy Moss Â* Â* 9 receptions for 102 yards & TD

Defense limits Baltimore to 13 points. (2 TDs, but 1 missed XP)

Raiders win 24-13. Go Raiders!

I thought this ran all the way through to the Super Bowl itself??

That way you are saving teams for the play offs, so you can't just pick all the good teams early.

I think it's just regular season. It may seem easy now, but I doubt there'll be many of us left come season's end.

yes, if there was the question, the game only runs through the regular season.
