hey Dry, its mano-a-mano. Let's show everyone how to survive an entire tournament.

My day 5 pick - Patty Schnyder

Yeah, Moose... Now it gets PERSONAL!!!! :)

Schnyder here, too. I know that detracts from the drama of the pool, but it's the way I've gotta go, too.

Whats up with this? You guys got something against Ms. Peer? [hic]

jimp, I know... It only stands to reason that Peer will obviously beat Serena Williams. But I couldn't pick her because I picked her in the first round... And I'm also 100% sure that Irvin will beat Sharapova, but I figured that was just WAY too obvious...

Jimbo - I'm saving Peer and Nuria Llagostera Vives for the later rounds. Don't want to use up all the good players early.

Hey, Moose, you're talkin' to a lefty!!!! :)

Is there any other possible explanation for Schnyder's loss to Castano than divine intervention? Castano must be Catholic...

I'm a lefty too, Dry! I didn't mean you shouldn't have trusted Schnyder, I meant you should not have trusted me ;)

What is it they say, if the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, then only left-handed people are in their right minds? Something like that?

I'm still pissed. Schnyder has had a good season, and she waited until WE picked her to have one of her "moments." I thought it was both the surest and safest pick in women's draw at that point. What a hag...
