I had decided that if both Peter and 3mlm picked the same player, I would go in the opposite direction, just for spite. But, I guess I have to play my instincts--I know, probably a bad move on my part.

Hey all,

It is 8:00 AM and boy did I have problems sleeping. I think I would be a mental wreck as a player. We are heading out for breakfast and then to my niece's juniors match. It is so exciting that she is doing so well.

After that I am going to close my eyes and let them lead me around all those people to get to centre court, lol.

Anyway, I initially was going to go with Sharapova but to make things interesting and hopefully put a greater lock on at least one of us winning this thing, I am going to go with Venus.


Marie has never played Venus at her best. If Venus can find her "A" game and hold onto it long enough this could be a thriller.
