Waylandboy-tw jumps out to the early lead, followed closely by Omegadoom, with ptmcmahon in third place. The champion and finalist in Atlanta were popular picks, so as expected this game is being influenced by players deep down on the roster. See you in Washington!

Uncommonly low scores in Washington this week as upsets ravaged the draw early on. Nobody had Nick Kygrios, our champion, on their team but two players, tenedab and Miles traded in finalist Medvedev this week, boosting them to the top of the weekly scores. New England Nitemare comes in third, scoring points with the vast majority of their team.

The low scores through week 2 leave the majority of the field in contention for the top 3. Tenedab's weekly win catapults them to the overall lead. Ptmcmahon and Omegadoom stay in the top three off the strength of their Week 1 performance. Montreal promises to produce higher scores next week. Good luck!

Not sure how many people had Nishikori or Anderson on their teams, but that may have contributed to the uncommonly low scores. I only chose Nishikori because he was playing in DC and has a very good history there. That withdraw hurt my already pitiful scores, I'd imagine others may have similarly suffered.

I had Anderson who of course withdrew. About par for the course for my luck this year.

Nadal's breezy win in Canada greatly benefitted those who traded him in for the week. Miles was the big winner for the week, with both Rafa and finalist Medvedev on his team. Munchin came in second, utilizing Karen Khachanov's SF performance. JazzNU rounds out the top three.

The was a total shakeup at the top of the overall rankings, as all of last week's top 3 have been displaced. Ptmcmahon's consistent scores have been enough to catapult them to the top. Only 4 points behind is Miles on the strength of two straight top-3 weekly scores. Squeaking into third is Week One champion, waylandboy-tw.

I don't see how that's possible. Very few must have had Nadal, the one thing I've done right this entire contest. Order will be restored this week since I missed the trade deadline.

Tenedab is the big winner this week, being the only player who had Cincy winner Medvedev on their team. Yoort and dave g were close behind in 2nd and 3rd, both benefiting from Djokovic's and Goffin's performances.

Tenedab's big win this week is enough to leapfrog them all the way to the top of the standings. Remaining in silver medal position with a good Cincinnati performance is Miles. Hanging onto 3rd place is ptmcmahon.

Winston-Salem was generally a low-scoring affair. Only two players even had one of the semifinalists, but Drop-Shot benefited from Hubert Hurkacz's big tournament for the weekly win. The same goes for dave g, who gets second place. In a distant third place, the best of the rest was texasniteowl.

Maintaining the overall lead going into the US Open is tenedab. Dave g leapfrogs into second place, just 6 points behind the lead. Miles rounds out the top three for a third straight week in medal position.

*made one edit to the scores on 9/6/19 - Jeff in TX had received one extra point accidentally.

As expected, this year's wild US Open produced some wildly high scores. Four or five of us managed to have both Nadal and Medvedev, which proved monumental. Munchin also had semifinalist Dimitrov, hitherto useless in this contest, but who had his best tournament of any kind in two years and propelled the weekly win. Yoort was the only player who had upstart semifinalist Berrettini, which was good enough for the weekly silver. Tenedab used Roger Federer's QF run as well as performances by the overachievers in their Category D (Rublev, Popyrin and Bublik) to pick up a crucial third place finish (see below).

So, the final tallies:

After picking up bronze medals here in 2013 and 2016, finally cracking the code and taking home the gold is...

Gold Medalist: Tenedab with 968 points
followed by:
Silver Medalist: munchin with 938 points
Bronze Medalist: Omegadoom with 896 points

Congratulations to our winners. Thanks again everyone for playing this fantasy contest for another year. I never get sick of facilitating it. Please thank dave g who co-facilitates this contest in a more behind-the-scenes capacity and we hope to see you again next year on the hard road to New York (Or, even better, next week in The Greatest Loser (http://www.talkabouttennis.com/forum/forums/347-2019-The-Greatest-Loser))!!

Yoort was the only player who had upstart semifinalist Berrettini, which was good enough for the weekly silver.

I would've had him on team but I was scared off by how little he was playing. He only played 1 match between Wimbledon and US Open (a Cincinnati loss.) Nicely picked.
