Here's the place to brag about your losers before their opponents slip on the grass and they end up winning. A pick tracker will be up after the start of main draw play, and will in the best case be updated daily. Scoreboards will be posted after each round ends.

Oooooh! 36 entrants. My chances of going top 30 for the second YCWJ in a row are looking iffy.

My three WTA picks who played today all won! I guess you're welcome, ladies.

I used to be good at this contest!

I'm not in the tracker :( Granted, I'll probably place last as usual

Whew! I looked at the "Pick Tracker" and didn't notice the different colors for the "WON". It looked like I was only getting one point for the first round, which would have been disastrous. ;-)

Yes, motobass and I played this time around and we are giving you and yoort a run for your money!!!

A run for the bottom of the list. At this point I'd be happy with a 30 place finish.

For the first time since the 2016 Australian Open, no contestant scored a perfect first round. Waylandboy-tw came the closest, losing only his fourth women's pick. He leads with 19, while Ribbons, James7, and yoort are also within two of the lead. For once, the rash of upsets in real life translated into lower scores in the contest; five contestants have five points or lower, and thirteen have 10 or lower.

There are a bunch of us at the bottom (including me, OF COURSE) who probably would have done better making random picks. My dream of consecutive top 30 finishes is really looking bad at the moment. GH

James7 and Ribbons both passed waylandboy-tw to take over first place after the second round. All three are still in a great position though, and have opened up a slight lead of three over the pack.

Miles has clinched the wooden spoon of this contest. With four points, he posted the lowest total since 2015 Wimbledon and one of the lowest all time.

Since there is one remaining second round match and jazzyg has a pick currently represented by Taylor Fritz, they will earn another two points in the round if Sascha Zverev comes back in that match.

Miles, I'm so proud of you. But just you wait, I am certain to beat your low score very soon. This time, you made my current tie for 33rd look pretty good by my standards.

I didn't even realize I was doing okay at something for a change. :)

It'll fall apart soon enough.

James7 and Ribbons continue to lead with 38 and 37 points, respectively. Tolulops is now in third two points behind them, and PeterSkan posted the highest score (and only double digit score) of the round with 10 points.

Tolulops stormed into the lead on Manic Monday, and is now two points ahead of James7 and six ahead of anyone else with a pick left. Only three contestants have multiple picks remaining, and only tolulops has more than two.

All of the top of the scoreboard from the fourth round lost their picks in the quarterfinals. Now ptmcmahon is the highest-scoring contestant with a pick remaining, but still stands 8 points behind the lead. He and anyone else who has a chance will need to have picked a wooden spoon winner to pass tolulops in first. Here are your scenarios:

Ptmcmahon takes the medal if Djokovic loses in the men's final. Barring that,

Texasniteowl wins if Ostapenko loses in the women's final, and

MysterX wins if Goerges loses in the women's final.

If none of those three events occur, tolulops will have held on to the lead.

Wow...two rounds ago I was down to 1 pick and out of the top 10 and had sort of stopped paying attention. Is Djokovic actually the favorite in his semifinal? I find that a little surprising.

So I'm now certain to end up 34th of the 37 competitors. My dream of back-to-back top 30 finishes fell short due to 2 factors:

1. There were more than 30 entrants.

2. I really, really, really, suck at YCWJ.

Tell me about it. I've been running this contest for over 10 years now and I still can't figure it out.

After the semifinals, things are simple. If Djokovic wins the men's final, tolulops is our champion. If Anderson wins, ptmcmahon takes the medal, courtesy of Albert Ramos-Vinolas.

There is one other contestant with a pick still remaining. Dollymix has Irina-Camelia Begu, represented by Serena in the final. So if Kerber wins the women's final, she will have picked a wooden spoon winner.
