Please look at the address bar in your browser. Do you see www.talkabouttennis.com or talkabouttennis.com (without the www.)?

If you want clues.
In Mozilla, the WWW plus everything after TALKABOUTTENNIS.COM is in grayish. TALKABOUTTENNIS.COM is in black.

Just FYI, the reason behind this poll (and the warning about possibly needing to log in again) has to do with our new Bracket Prediction Contest for slams. For technical reasons it's imperative for the contest that members who play in the contest are logged into TAT with WWW. We believe the problem that we had with the contest for the AO was due to some members being logged into TAT without the WWW.

So I made a change on the server that should redirect browsers without the WWW over to TAT with the WWW. That should fix the contest problem. I'm assuming the grayed out text in the URL in Mozilla is a way of telling you that the browser is noticing that redirection.

It looks like different browsers react to this redirection in different ways. But it appears to have worked as far as the contest is concerned.

I tried IE and entered the URL without the www and it adds it for me - using IE 11.

Excellent. That's the redirection working.

We think, with the redirection in place, even though the URL might not change to include the WWW, it will still be included where necessary for the contest files.
