Congartulations to waylandbow-tw who won the gold with 1119 points. He lead all the way from Week 1 to the end!!

Miles won the silver with 1042. Omegadoom won the bronze with 1041.
With a six-week contest, I was surprised to see a medal position decided by a single point.

Good job wayland...wire to wire victory. And thanks to dave and Luvs10s (and anyone else who helped out.)

Now...Mr. Monfils...need to have a discussion with you...

Three positions were decided by a point and there was also a tie...some very close totals.

To think that I was in second place at one time, and yet finished 9th. I need to manage my trades better.
Congrats to the medalists. Need to learn from them.

Woohoo! It feels great to put an end to the four year title drought and finally get #4, including my third TSIP. Thanks as always to the great contest staff who helps run these. Congrats again to the medalists as well. As for those lamenting Monfils, my only words to pass along are a quote from the great Miles that once warned me to "never put my contest hopes in a Frenchman";)

Did not know you had a drought. I barely won one thanks to Azarenka winning 2012 Australian Open.

The medals have been awarded. If you do not received your medal or your notification via PM, please let me know.

Congratulations to the winners!

Ptmcmahon, my heart always goes out to the soul who finishes fourth. And patrick was so close behind you.

I always hope for one medal a year and I have mine for 2015 ... so it didn't sting too much. I'm more mad at Le Monf for the nonsense he did after I traded for him...especially since keeping Isner might have got me enough points (I didn't bother to add it up...yet....)

Congratulations to the winners and thanks again to the staff for running this contest - on to Green Acres. :cheesy:

My congrats to the winners. And as I predicted at the onset, I finished in the top FIFTEEN!!! (yeah!!!). Of course, there were only 14 contestants and I was 14th.

I almost feel like I should apologize to the organizers. When I made my initial picks, I had every intention of trying very hard to make appropriate trades to improve my performance over previous years at this. But this year, the first few weekends, I was in the middle of preparing for a bitching list of final exams and writing my final paper (basically a term paper) for my Spanish Composition class. Then, as soon as the semester was over, Gertie and I started a series of backpacking trips. While we were always out of the woods a couple of days a week, those days were either Tuesday and Wednesday, or Wednesday and Thursday. And that never seemed right to make the trades.

I'll try to do better at Green Acres. But even if I'm always last, I really do love the availability of contests on this site, and I really appreciate the people who do them. It is amazing how much more I pay attention to and enjoy reading about the tournaments that are going on when I have some vested interest (such as any of our contests).

Thanks again!!! GH
