I think this is the smallest P&R Update I have ever created in 9 years of Pools

My first Updated thread for a women's draw, and I've been playing SPs for 5 or 6 years.

Well done, Megan. Well done everyone, actually. Stunned we only have 6 left.

Thanks Moose. Good luck, everyone. I'm so tempted to take Riske because I havent given in to an overly clever pick yet...

Really impressive to still be in this. Special shout-out to Dolly for picking from the CSN-Kerber match and picking CSN, when Kerber was still an option.

And then we were 3. And those remaining 3 still have 4 picks to go to beat the draw. Gulp.

After losing 90% of our remaining players on Day 7, we lost 50% on Day 8. :axe:

MysterX is in a pole position because the other two have to pick Makarova over Li and I don't think that is going to happen.

Incredible. Although I'm out this is exciting to watch.

But, so many wacky things have happened this tournament! Keep hope alive ;)

Nevertheless, I feel my Long Island can start to be mixed....

Thanks - I've seen enough Kerber matches and results to know that she can't be trusted. Of course, I only got one extra day out of it.

As of 4:13 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Tuesday of the second week, we have winners in BOTH the pools (men and women). This was the time of the ending of the Li Na win. Surely this is the earliest that both pools have had winners. Congrats to the 2 winners who survived unparalleled blood baths in the SP's. Glenn

Pennetta is looking really good at the moment. Decision day is near for the WTA SP winner.
