Welcome to the thread where all the players from both the ATP and WTA top-100 have been boxed and giftwrapped into five handy categories for you to choose from ;D

Picking your team

To enter "A Month in the Sun" you need to assemble a team consisting of TWELVE players. Of those twelve players, six must be from the ATP and six must be from the WTA. Any team with too many men or women will not be included in the competition.

You must choose a specific number of players from each of the categories available to you. From category A you must pick FOUR players, from each of the remaining categories you must pick TWO players.

It is up to YOU to decide how you spread your WTA and ATP player picks. If you want to pick four WTA players for your category A picks, that's your choice. It would leave you with just the two WTA picks for the remaining four categories.

Example:

Cat-A: Nadal, Sharapova, Clijsters, Mauresmo
Cat-B: Chackvetadze, Ivanovic
Cat-C: Gaudio, Vliegen
Cat-D: Kanepi, Bjorkman
Cat-E: Karlovic, Andreev

or maybe:

Cat-A: Federer, Nadal, Nalbandian, Roddick
Cat-B: Chackvetadze, Ivanovic
Cat-C: Gaudio, Vliegen
Cat-D: Kanepi, Craybas
Cat-E: Brianti, Williams

As you can see, both teams consist of six ATP players and six WTA players. As long as you pick four names from category A and two from the other categories and make sure it's 50/50 ATP WTA, it's fine by us. Part of the challenge for you is finding the right balance :)

Trades?

Your twelve picks are supposed to last you through the entire MONTH, so you can't trade a player just because he or she is having a crappy start to year. However...

Should one or more of your players get injured or fall ill, you will be allowed to replace him/her with another player! Any and all injury trades must always be made in the week BEFORE the next tournament(s). Any trades made after the start of the next tournament(s) will NOT be accepted. Any injury trade you make is permanent, so always try to make sure your injured/ill player isn't just taking a week off.

Now what...

Grab a pen and a piece of paper and get ready to select your team!!! All categories can be found in the posts below. Just remember: FOUR category A picks, TWO picks for categories B, C, D and E. Six boys, six girls. Good luck! ;D
