Welcome to the semifinals of our 9th Annual Men's Wimbledon Suicide Pool.

Remember, you shall be making one pick EACH DAY of the Men’s event (NOT one each round), and once you use a player, you shall not be allowed to use him again. There is a “picks and results thread” posted so you can check the choices you have made.

It is very important that you follow our posted schedule of play for the day. Day 12's matches both semifinal matches from the Men's Draw.

Post your Day 12 pick by replying IN THIS THREAD. Your pick must be in before the scheduled start of play for the day in London, rain or shine, that is, Friday, July 5th at 11:30 a.m. London time. For those in the US, London is five (5) hours later than the east coast 6:30 a.m., and eight (8) hours later than the West coast 3:30 a.m. Don’t be late as we hate making those hard decisions, but we will. The thread will be locked at the deadline, so don't wait until the final minutes.

For those in other time zones this link may be useful: http://www.talkabouttennis.com/forum...ime-Conversion

Since the object of the game is to pick a player that you are sure is going to win on that day, should your player withdraw, she obviously cannot win her match. You do not get a substitute (lucky loser) - you have chosen a player, not a spot in the draw. You might want to scout your player and make sure there is not a known injury or illness issue.

If you change your mind after you make your pick, and before the deadline, please make a second post advising us of your change - PLEASE DO NOT make your change in your original post, as we often go through the posts before closing to begin the task of updating the picks and results, and we might miss a change if you edit your original pick.

If both semis go according to form, we are guaranteed to have people beat the draw. But unless I'm missing something, if EITHER semi goes against seed, we will have no one beating the draw. In that latter scenario, we would know the SP winners by the end of the semis. G

If Del Potro beat Djokovic, then those who have picked Murray today would still have a chance to pick Del Potro in the finals.

For whatever reason, I haven't been able to open the "updated P & R" thread, so I didn't realize there were people who are this far without having used DelPo. But that does make sense......those who used Janowicz in the quarters (which is all of the people we have left) may or may not have used DelPo earlier. G
