View Full Version : The IW/Miami Loser's Lounge is OPEN FOR BUSINESS

Every good game needs a place to let off steam after another disappointing first round dump-out, and that's why the IW/Miami Losers' Lounge is even more special than any regularlounge - it's the only oppurtunity on the ATP/WTA calendar to land here 4 times, instead of the usual two.

Play began at Indian Wells about a half hour ago. The clock is running to see who will be claiming the first seat this year. All you Polona Hercog pickers might want to start thinking about what cool, frothy beverage goes best with an early loss if the scoreboard is any indication :)

Looks like Zakopalova actually did something once, meanwhile while she's done Voskoboeva is still serving at 3-5 in her first set. Hooray for painless SP wins!

Wait....is winning one game against someone in their first tournament as a top 100 player not good?.....well I don't know what to think anymore, damn kids these days with their music and expectations. it's sickening.

Well I broke my #1 rule for picking a player and paid for it. #1. Never pick a player to lose. I though Kimiko was having a poor season, so I picked her to lose. She then beats Parmentier. Dumb pick!

At least these are only practice pools.

I am suffering terrible withdrawl today:

It's not 80-ish and sunny, it's 55 and pouring rain. :(
I'm not having breakfast in sight of Mohammed Layani or Eva Asderaki, nor is anyone making me eggs to order. I had a bagel on my couch and had to tell the thermostat that it's now 1 hour later than it thought, so turn the damn heat on, anyway.
I am not watching live tennis. I am dealing with an email program from H*LL that has lost its fracking mind and refuses to save my changes!
