We try to stay on schedule in the suicide pool.

Therefore, if tomorrow's schedule includes the day 10 singles matches it would have without today's rain (the start of the men's quarters and conclusion of the women's quarters), you will be expected to make a pick for day 10 and survive both day 9 and day 10 picks.

So, please come back and check to see if the threads open for day 10 or for further announcements.

Note, you will not be allowed to pick from matches carried over from day 9, even if that match never started. You didn't choose it today; you cannot get a second bite at it tomorrow.

Play for day 9 has been canceled.

But, again, a pick may still be due tomorrow depending on whether day 10's schedule includes new matches.

You will be making a day 10 pick:

Looks like they are going to attempt to keep pace.

So, picks will be due for Wednesday and everyone will have to survive both day 9 and day 10 picks.

Day 10 threads will be up in a little bit.

Men's pick for Thursday:

At this point, we have no clue if they will be able to complete the men's round of 16 today, and then, no clue if they will actually schedule their quarterfinals for tomorrow.

Stay tuned to see if there will be a men's pick due tomorrow.....

Womens' Pick information for Thursday:

Traditionally, 2nd Thursday is an off day for the women, so it is most likely that no pick will be due even if matches get underway. But we do recommend your checking back for any other scheduling/game announcements made necessary by the weather.

I'll call it. Men's day 9 matches will not play today.

Obviously, they will not play their round of 16 and quarterfinal matches in one day.

No men's pick for Thursday is due.

But, if they do get their round of 16 matches in tomorrow, a quarterfinal pick for that half of the men's draw will be due for Friday.
