Welcome all to the final fantasy tennis event of the year.

Basically you win by getting the highest score, but how you go about it is just a tad different than the rest of the year. NOW YOU WANT YOUR PLAYERS TO LOSE OR WITHDRAW. The sooner your players lose, the more points they yield.

The key is to select players that will play a certain tournament, but that you expect to flame out soon. In this sense points will be awarded in descending values from R-1 onward.

Basic Rules:
1) The highest score wins.
2) Your team must consist of 12 players, three from each of four categories, from the top 100 players in the WTA.
3) You are allowed up to five trades.

On withdrawals:
If a player withdraws, they get HALF OF THE R-1 POINTS FOR THAT TOURNAMENT no matter at what stage of the event they withdraw. So it's actually like a wildcard. An early withdrawal might yield less points, but a late withdrawal would benefit you!

A mid-match withdrawal will give you withdrawal points, not the points that you would normally get for that round.

The withdrawal can be a walkover as well.

However, if a player withdraws before they play their first match in a tournament they will not be given any points. They must take to the court and BEGIN play of their first match.

Player Categories: Players and prices can be located here (http://www.talkabouttennis.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19870).

Trades:
During this contest you will be able to make FIVE trades. Trades must be made before a tournament begins to be effective immediately, otherwise they will start counting for the following week.

During trades you must keep the mandatory number of players per category or the trade will be invalid.

To make a trade, please click here (http://www.talkabouttennis.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19864) to post your team with the new player included.
